The Story Behind the Work

I am a Registered Occupational Therapist, Coach, and Health and Wellbeing Leader with over 30 years of experience in Occupational Health, Wellness, and Disability Management. I have partnered with healthcare, corporate, and public sector organizations across Canada, and I bring a level of clinical rigor to this work that most practitioners in this space simply don't have.

But the work I do today and the reason I do it is rooted in something far more personal than my credentials.

There was a point in my life where, on paper, everything looked right. I was an executive leading high-performing teams, building a career I had worked hard for, navigating a complex multigenerational household, and carrying the mental load of a family that depended on me. I was doing all of it competently, without complaint. And I was quietly losing myself in the process.

The anxiety I carried didn't have an obvious source. I had achieved everything I was supposed to achieve. I was the leader my team needed, the professional my organization relied on, the person my family depended on. But underneath all of it was something I hadn't been trained to name. The cost of spending years showing up fully for everyone and everything except myself. What found my way back was the same discipline I had spent three decades practicing professionally. Occupational Therapy.

Not therapy in the clinical sense. OT in its truest form. The science of how people function. How we operate across our roles, our environments, and the demands placed on us. How the structure of a life and a career, when misaligned with a person's values and capacity, creates a particular kind of exhaustion that no amount of rest or self-care resolves.

I rebuilt my own structure. As a professional. As a leader. As a person. And then I made it my life's work to help others do the same.

Today I work in two interconnected spaces.

For organizations,

I design evidence-based Wellness and Disability Management strategies that improve employee wellbeing and build cultures where people can actually sustain high performance.

For individuals,

I run a private coaching practice for high-achieving women who are navigating the full complexity of ambitious careers, leadership responsibilities, and personal lives that leave very little room for themselves. Women who are accomplished, capable, and quietly running on empty.

Through a blend of occupational therapy principles, values-based strategies, and 30 years of clinical and lived experience, I help them understand how they're actually functioning, in their careers, in their leadership, and in their lives, and rebuild in a way that finally includes them.

What connects both streams of my work is a belief I have held for three decades. When people are structurally supported to thrive at work, at home, within themselves, the organizations and communities around them rise with them.
